Good afternoon to our EES families!
Week two has come to an end, and amazing things are happening here at Easthill!
All of our students are getting their walking/running shoes going as we prepare for our Annual Terry Fox Run. Students are already running laps with their classmates as the school tries to cover the same distance that Terry did on his run. Ask your student about the running/walking taking place and how they are participating.
The drop off and pick up process is becoming better each day. We wanted to share the following reminders with all families:
-
The Drop and go area off McDonald Garden is meant for quick drop offs. If you would like to get out of the car to support your child, please use the parking lot attached to the drop and go area as there are several spaces available.
-
We are asking that if students or families are walking to the front entrance, please use the sidewalk across the front of the school and not the bus loop. This includes students bringing bikes and scooters to the bike racks at the front of the school. There are several young students exiting the buses in the morning and loading on buses in the afternoon, and extra traffic creates a stressful space for some of our youngest students.
Thank you all for your continued support with our entry and exit plans.
As we move forward, please remember that we are a team. We encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher or the school office with any questions or concerns. We are here to help and ensure your child has the best possible experience at Easthill Elementary.
School Council - We will be starting up our School Council again in a couple of weeks. Please see below for the date/time/location of our first meeting. We look forward to seeing as many families as possible being a part of this important group that supports our school and community in so many amazing ways. Tuesday, September 23, 2025 - 6:00pm in our Library Resource Room.

School Cash Online:
Please watch your email for directions for setting up your School Cash Online account. This account will be used to order and pay for pizza, pay for class trips, and other things throughout the school year. If you don’t have an account, you will need your child’s OEN number. Classroom teachers will be able to provide you with that information next week.
