Good afternoon to our EES families!
Wishing all of our families a Happy Thanksgiving this weekend. We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Tuesday, October 14.
Please take a moment to review the pick up and drop off reminders below:
-
The Drop and go area off McDonald Garden is meant for quick drop offs. If you would like to get out of the car to support your child, please use the parking lot attached to the drop and go area as there are several spaces available.
-
We are asking that if students or families are walking to the front entrance, please use the sidewalk across the front of the school and not the bus loop. This includes students bringing bikes and scooters to the bike racks at the front of the school. There are several young students exiting the buses in the morning and loading on buses in the afternoon, and extra traffic creates a stressful space for some of our youngest students.
-
Now that students are familiar with entry, we ask that parents drop them off at the appropriate gate and allow students to walk to their lines independently.
Thank you all for your continued support with our entry and exit plans.
As we move forward, please remember that we are a team. We encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher or the school office with any questions or concerns. We are here to help and ensure your child has the best possible experience at Easthill Elementary.
School Council - We had an incredible first School Council meeting. It was the largest attended meeting so far. That bodes well for amazing things to happen at Easthill this year. The next meeting is Tuesday, October 21 at 6pm in the Learning Commons. See you there.
