June 13, 2025
Good afternoon to our EES families!
We hope all our families are enjoying this beautiful sunny weekend.
Another week of fun and learning took place at Easthill. Ten of our students showed their athletic spirit at our District Track & Field Day at Mary Ann Sills on Wednesday. Plus, students had many amazing out of school learning opportunities including the Martial Arts Club, Pioneer Village, Ripley’s Aquarium, and Glanmore House.
As June continues, Grade 8 families are reminded that our Graduation Celebration is on June 19, 2025. Graduation will be at Centennial Secondary School. Doors will be open at 5:30pm and the ceremony will begin at 6:00pm. Tickets for graduation will be sent home with students on Monday, so please watch for them. Graduation is for our Grade 8 students and their families only as there are a limited number of seats. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to the school.
Words Matter Campaign: We will be continuing our discussions with our students around the importance of their words and how they may impact others. This is ongoing learning that continues each and every day here at Easthill. We are celebrating our work so far, and will continue the learning into next year. We are working on some community presentations for the fall. Stay tuned.
School Council - We would like to thank all of our School Council members for a great year. We have been able to have many successful fundraisers and school events supported throughout the year. The School Council has supported the maintenance and purchase of musical instruments so that we can continue our amazing instrumental music program. We will send out communication to all families in the fall inviting you to join our amazing School Council. We look forward to seeing many familiar and new faces in September.
