January 26, 2024
Good afternoon to our QEB families,
We are loving the snow at QEB this week! It’s ‘snow’ much fun watching our students have fun playing and creating outside! Please reach out to your child(ren)’s teacher if you have a need for hats, mittens/gloves, scarves, or socks (and some coats and snow pants) for your family - we have a great supply on hand to provide to our student community.
During the week of January 29 - February 1, 2024, intermediate and junior students (Grades 3-8) at QEB and across HPEDSB are invited to take part in Dodgeball for Change - a dodgeball tournament in support of The HPE Learning Foundation. Entry fee is $2 per student with money raised going toward the The Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation Programs: Food for Learning, The Student Emergency Fund and the Nutrition Cupboards. In addition, Kinder - Grade 8 students can order chocolate or vanilla milkshakes or a Natural Fruit Juice ‘Freezie’ for $2.00 to support this fundraiser. The milkshakes and freezies will be delivered to students on Thursday, February 1, 2024. All items are available for purchase on School Cash Online.
Just a reminder that this upcoming Friday, February 2, 2024 is a PA day for all our students!
