Good afternoon QEB Families,

We’ve come a long way since school started in September. It’s been amazing ending this year with so many exciting events:  the happiness of class trips, the energy of track and field/playday/baseball, coming together as a school community for our QEB Farewell Celebration and celebrating a milestone together at our Grade 8 graduation. We are so proud of the perseverance and growth that our students have shown throughout this school year!

We want to say thank you to the following staff for their dedication and support of our QEB students, staff and community. We wish them well in their new positions and placements within the HPEDSB!

  1. Ms. Bonter
  2. Mr. Wallwork
  3. Mr. Tuck
  4. Ms. Phinnemore
  5. Miss Martin
  6. Ms. Bennett
  7. Ms. Brohm
  8. Ms. Erling
  9. Ms. Watson
  10. Ms. Mieske

Exciting News regarding Easthill Elementary School! The EES Mascot Steering committee reviewed the information provided by our school community and it has been determined that going forward when we move into EES we will be known as the Easthill Elementary School Eclipse! The new logo will be shared with the school community in the fall!

Students currently accessing Lexia reading programming will continue to have access over the summer. Please reach out to staff for login information if you wish to have your child access this reading tool over the summer.

With summer comes a slower pace (hopefully), and the joy of spending time with family and friends – we are all ready for that!  As you head out on your summer vacations in the coming days or weeks, we want to extend best wishes for a well-deserved time of rest, fun and safe adventures!

See you in September!
